Terms and Conditions

HandyCV is a web-based CV builder that lets you create, customise, save, and export CVs as PDFs. The service also includes optional features such as sending your CV by email to recruiters.

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the service at any time with reasonable notice where possible.

You sign in to HandyCV using your Google account via Google OAuth. By signing in, you authorise us to receive your name and email address from Google for the purpose of creating and managing your account.

You are responsible for maintaining the security of your Google account. You must not share access to your HandyCV account with others.

You retain full ownership of all CV data and content you enter into HandyCV. We do not claim any intellectual property rights over your personal information, work history, or any other data you provide.

By using the service, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive licence to store and process your content solely for the purpose of providing the service to you.

You agree not to use HandyCV to:

• Submit false, misleading, or fraudulent information
• Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the service or its infrastructure
• Use automated scripts to scrape, crawl, or interact with the service
• Send spam or unsolicited communications using the email feature
• Violate any applicable law or regulation

HandyCV offers a free tier and a paid Pro plan. Pricing and features for paid plans are described on our pricing page. All prices are in USD and are billed monthly or annually depending on your selection.

You may cancel your Pro subscription at any time. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period — you will not be charged for the next period and your access to Pro features continues until that date.

We do not offer refunds for partial billing periods except where required by applicable law.

HandyCV and its original content, features, design, and code are owned by HandyCVand protected by intellectual property law. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or reverse-engineer any part of the service without our express written permission.

HandyCV is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not guarantee that the service will be error-free, uninterrupted, or suitable for any particular purpose.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, HandyCV shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service, including but not limited to loss of data or missed job opportunities.

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of the service after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.
