This Cookie Policy explains what cookies HandyCV uses, why we use them, and how you can control them. We keep our cookie use minimal — only what is strictly necessary to operate the service.
1. What Are Cookies
Cookies are small text files stored in your browser when you visit a website. They allow the site to recognise your device across requests and sessions. Cookies can be "session" cookies (deleted when you close your browser) or "persistent" cookies (stored until they expire or you delete them).
2. Cookies We Use
HandyCV uses only essential cookies required to operate the service:

We do not use advertising cookies, tracking pixels, or analytics cookies. We do not use third-party cookies from advertising networks.
3. Local Storage
In addition to cookies, HandyCV uses your browser's localStorage to save preferences such as favourite email templates. This data never leaves your device and is not transmitted to our servers.
4. Why We Don't Use Analytics Cookies
We believe your browsing behaviour is your own business. HandyCV does not embed Google Analytics, Mixpanel, or any other behavioural tracking service. Any usage insights we gather come from anonymised server-side logs that do not use cookies.
5. Managing Cookies
Because we only use essential cookies, disabling them will prevent HandyCV from functioning correctly — you will not be able to stay signed in.
You can manage or clear cookies through your browser settings:

If we change the cookies we use, we will update this page and revise the "Last updated" date. We will notify you of any material changes via the app or by email.
